GOUGE AWAY SHARE “GHOST,” ANNOUNCE EXTENSIVE TOURING IN N. AMERICA & ABROAD

Floridian punks Gouge Away will release their Deathwish debut, Burnt Sugar, on September 28th. Today, the band has announced extensive worldwide touring in support of it; first, an East Coast run alongside Culture Abuse followed by a UK tour together. Upon their return to the States, Gouge Away will head back out on the road in November, this time with Drug Church. The tour will take the bands from the West Coast, through the Midwest, eventually ending back in Gouge Away’s home state. Look for detailed tour information below.

INDUSTRIAL/PUNK DUO STREET SECTS ANNOUNCE NEW LP, PREMIERE SINGLE

As urgent and tense as a hunting knife pressed to your quickening jugular, post-punk duo Street Sects’ forthcoming sophomore LP The Kicking Mule presents ten intimate vignettes about self-sabotage, visiting themes like battling mental illness, addiction, alienation and more. Though primarily known as masters of cacophonous samples and jittery electronic stutter, Street Sects' new album represents a seismic shift in execution by applying those ideas to that of the romantic yet experimental approach of Roxy Music/Brian Eno as well as Berlin-era Bowie. ECHO BEDS’ SOPHOMORE ALBUM, ‘BURIED LANGUAGE,’ NOW AVAILABLE FOR STREAMING

Buried Language, the sophomore effort from Denver-based industrial duo Echo Beds (comprised of Keith Curts and Tom Nelsen), is an album indebted to the past. Inspired by a tumultuous end to 2016, in which the pair were locked out of their rehearsal space and their gear was held hostage by city officials, Buried Language is steeped in rage and embittered self-reliance. POST-BLACK METAL BAND BOSSE-DE-NAGE SHARE “MY SHROUD” FROM THEIR FORTHCOMING ‘FURTHER STILL’ LP

One month from today, San Francisco post-black-metal band Bosse-de-Nage will release their highly-anticipated fifth full-length Further Still. The album marks a bold diversion from Bosse-de-Nage’s typically sprawling arrangements in favor of airtight, propulsive song structures. Deliberately succinct and fuming, the grip of nine new tracks finds Bosse-de-Nage pitting their unique lyrical structures against hairpin turning melodies.

RUSSIAN CIRCLES ANNOUNCE U.S. SHOWS AROUND CO-HEADLINE TOUR WITH CHELSEA WOLFE

Russian Circles have never been ones to sit still. As they prepare for a west coast co-headline tour with Sargent House label mate Chelsea Wolfe (as well as celebrate the two-year anniversary of their monumental LP Guidance), Russian Circles have announced a batch of solo shows surrounding the tour. These additional dates will bookend the Chelsea Wolfe run and Russian Circles' time on the road spans about four weeks in total this September and October. Check out the full tour routing below.

ENIGMATIC BAY AREA DUO MAMALEEK SHARE “SICARII”

San Francisco-based black metal weirdos Mamaleek are set to release Out of Time, their fifth full-length album and second for The Flenser. The band consists of two mysterious brothers who have kept entirely to themselves about the project. Just recently the duo made their first live appearance, and Out of Time can be considered as the final chapter of this era of anonymity. Out of Time was recorded by Jack Shirley at The Atomic Garden (Deafheaven, Bosse-de-Nage, Botanist, etc.). This is Mamaleek’s first double album and it is their most ambitious work to date.

MISERABLE (KRISTINA ESFANDIARI) ANNOUNCES DOUBLE-EP RELEASE, SHARES SINGLE

In her work as the vocalist for King Woman, Kristina Esfandiari takes on a powerful, defiant stance against a backdrop of nocturnal doom rock. But in her ever-evolving solo endeavor Miserable, she removes the armor and reveals her vulnerabilities. The polarizing scope of Esfandiari’s work under the Miserable moniker is aptly demonstrated on two EPs forthcoming from Sargent House: the brand new Loverboy EP and a reissue of the highly sought after Dog Days EP (out together on October 26th).
