Culture Abuse have announced their first ever North American headlining tour, beginning June 6thin the band’s hometown San Francisco and ending July 6th in Seattle. Supporting acts are to be announced, with specials guests and surprise performances at each date. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 29th.
Last year, Culture Abuse released their latest album Bay Dream. Produced, engineered, and mixed by Carlos de la Garza (Bad Religion, Paramore, M83, Jimmy Eat World, Cherry Glazerr), Bay Dream follows Culture Abuse’s 2016 breakout debut Peach. With its lyrics informed by frontman David Kelling’s relocation from San Francisco to L.A., Bay Dream draws inspiration from artists as eclectic as Sly and the Family Stone, Paul Simon, and reggae legend Billy Boyo. Bay Dream received much critical acclaim, with praise from NPR, Stereogum, Noisey, and more.
Since the album’s release, Culture Abuse has toured the world including dates with Nothing, Green Day, The Bronx, Turnstile, and Touché Amoré to name a few. Upcoming tour dates for Culture Abuse are listed below; see them on the road this spring and summer and look for more details to surface soon.
